So it's already the end of the year and...dang it went by quickly. I always feel like the first few months of the year go by normally but after August it zooms by. Thankful that I actually accomplished quite a bit this year though with my art projects including finishing Inktober for the first time (a modified version but still !!!) and creating this very website. Here's hoping for more of that next year (I really want to get back to working on my comic)

Yesterday a friend came over and we watched The Boy and the Heron. It was good, the animation was beautiful (as expected from Ghibli obvs) but my goodness the plot was a bit of a mess and I'm not even sure me or my friend fully understood what happened. Not to mention the creepy birds.

Especially this guy.

I liked the nods to all of Miyazaki's other movies though. That was nice.

I also obviously want to continue to work on this site next year. I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would (minus the frustrating parts though especially figuring out css grids (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻) Writing in here has been a good way to clear my head.

I've actually also been thinking of possibly making a shrine since I've kinda gotten the hang of basic HTML now. But idk what it'd be about tbh (Adventure Time maybe or the October Daye books?) or what I'd put on it exactly. I also don't wanna make it too big or elaborate though since I'm not that skilled yet (I also am quite attached to the Zonelets layout and I don't know if making a shrine is possible with it :/)

Overall tho, I think this year went pretty well. Here's hoping next year will be a good one too.
