Bit of a brief post today (Also how are we already reaching the end of June?? Time be flyin')

Anyways earlier this month I finally got my hands on my very own retro gaming device after debating on getting one for over half a year! It's called the Anbernic RG CubeXX.

Here's mine (I love the Puyo Puyo games!)

I actually originally wanted to get the RG Cube (without the XX) because it can actually play GameCube on it and it has a touchscreen for DS games but I ended up buying this (the budget one) instead. Which ended up working out ok in the end since the real RG Cube is $143 more than the XX budget one

I've actually been really enjoying it though. GB and GBA games are mainly what I play on it and they run just fine. My first handheld console was the DS Lite so I never experienced that gaming era. DS games also work kinda if you stick to games that don't use much of the touchscreen, like Tetris.

(And I still have my 12 year old 3DS with a flashcart so I still can play DS games anyway)

Honestly it's kinda nice to go back to older games instead of chasing the FOMO of whatever new game is out at the moment. Costs less too since most big games nowadays are usually expensive.

Emulation is cool, yo.
