one year later + first fanpage

It's officially been one whole year since I started this little site!! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

(It says July 11th on my account but I actually never started making it until mid October 😅)

I honestly didn't expect to keep going with this project for more than a couple months at most but, multiple blog entries and a few extra fun pages later I've really grown attached to this place. And it turns out learning to code wasn't as scary as I first thought. In fact it's been a really good non art hobby for me to pick up when I don't feel like doing art. I've been told it's good for artists to have non art hobbies to have as a separate outlet to relax and de-stress themselves (if art is their main line of work) and aside from reading, I think coding is also up there now. It's fun.

Anyways BIG NEWS! My first ever shrine/fan page about Marianas Trench (I feel so weird about calling it a shrine because it kinda sounds parasocial) is finally done! It's kinda basic in terms of design and content but I'm pretty proud of it and how it came out. I might not make another one (at least not anytime soon) since it took a while to finish it but it was pretty fun to make and nice to think about the memories I've had being a Trencher for…16 years now?? _{holy moly what is time lol}

I'm glad I finally took the plunge and made a neocities site even if I was really intimidated at first. The indie web has been such a nice and creative place ^_^ I don't know how long I'll be here but I'm happy to be here for as long as I can!
