Happy Spotify wrapped day to all who celebrate! And they actually did a much better job this year than last year (which was entirely 100% AI generated :/)
Anyway here's mine:
I know the platform isn't the greatest (or the most kind to paying artists) but it's what works best for my listening needs plus the fact that it also has audiobooks. I've been looking into alternatives though after reading a couple posts on it.
Qobuz seems to be the most popular one (that isn't yknow, Apple Music or Youtube) but their song discovery and radio system apparently isn't that great if you like to discover artists based on the stuff you already listen to (like me). And supposedly their mobile app is buggy as heck.
I might try out Deezer next year since I've been told it's pretty similar to how Spotify already works. Just wish I could find a good alternative for audiobooks since my local library actually doesn't have that many -_-;
Listening to music has always been a huge form of therapy to me so that's why it's important.
